First Gen Graduation Celebration Ceremony - Spring 2025

Please join us, along with your family and loved ones, for an esteemed recognition ceremony in honor of your academic accomplishments. The event is designed to acknowledge and celebrate graduating first-generation students, who have successfully navigated the rigorous academic terrain to reach this significant milestone! Students will be able to walk the stage and receive our signature free First Gen Proud stole to wear at the larger commencement ceremony. 

Event Details
When: Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 
Where: LBJ Student Center Grand Ballroom, Third Floor
Ceremony Times: 10:00am and 2:00pm
There will be two different ceremonies to accommodate the graduating class! You will be asked later which ceremony you would prefer to attend.  

Requirements
- Must be approved to graduate for Spring 2025.
- Must RSVP by Friday, April 11th, 2025 to attend the ceremony. 

Students who are not able to attend the First Gen Graduation will have the opportunity to retrieve their stole after the celebration at a later date.
